I want to learn how to create the polaroid style in photoshop cs2. Heres an example of what I want to do.

I want to give photoshop lessons, but I would like to know what software I need in order to "take over" their desktop? So people "far away" can see what I am doing? People do it to me all the time, I’d just like to be able to do it for people I know that are far away. Thanks!

If you’re using a PC, then Remote Assistance would be perfect. Also, UltraVNC would work for you as well.

and every time i use the stroke path it comes out solid. it does not look like a brush stroke. what am i doing wrong? or what should i do to fix it? i read online that you have to check your settings but im not sure… help?

After you click stroke path there’s a little box on the bottom left that says simulate pressure. Check that box and it should taper.

how to go layer styles in adobe photoshop elements 6, when its grey and unclickable?

I suspect that you don’t have a true Layer in your image. If all you have in the Layer palette is one layer with the name "Background" you can not apply a style to this layer. You must first change it to a true layer. How? Double click on the Layer and accept the name by click OK in the dialog window that opens. Now you can apply a layer style.

Something else, if the image is an indexed image you can’t apply styles. Go to Image > Mode and click on RGB.

I just got Photoshop a couple of months ago and ive just been messing around, watching YouTube tutorials but I want to be an expert. Are there any FREE online photoshop classes that are really good and tell you everything.

Check out the links below. While some of them are on CS2, they translate quite easily to the CS3 platform in form and function.

I highly recommend getting the Adobe Classroom in a Book. It will walk you through most of the tools and tell you WHY, HOW and WHEN to use them properly.

I have read that you can color in the same paint style in Photoshop as you can in Corel Painter. Anyone know of any tutorials?
