Why don’t the font styles show up in Photoshop? (I can’t see what they look like until I use them)?
I’m using Photoshop 7 with Vista Premium. When I go to the list of fonts, it’s just a long list (ie I can’t see what they look like until I use them). It’s the same in WordPad. Is there anyway to rectify this?
No there isn’t. This is normal for Photoshop 7. However, if you create some text and select it then choose a font from the drop-down list it should show you the change. You can then use the cursor keys to quickly scroll through the fonts till you find one you like.
How can I learn to use Free Hand and Photoshop (Adobe Photoshop CS) designing programs, as well?
Hey, if anyone knows where to get or to find guides, easy lessons for beginners or whatever in the internet, for free (would be much better if they’re free), please tell me, I need help with it.
I’m a college student, and I’m on my 1rst year at it, and I’m taking a career in graphic design, and I have to use those design programs (plenty), and I have no clue of how to use any of them. I have lots of trouble trying to figure out how to make stuff with them, and I fail bringing my homework, and I guess I’m going to fail those classes, too, if I don’t update myself on them haha. But well, I have asked my teachers and peers for help but that isn’t enough, what they show me is brief and I forget it all instantly. I suck so badly at it, and I’m starting to worry. Thanks.

How can I edit a font on photoshop to make it look handwritten and real?
I have a picture and I want to add in a font, but I want it to look real like it was written there and then the picture was taken.
how would I go about doing that?
your computer probably has several "handwritten" fonts already loaded. lucida handwriting is a popular one. there is also chalkboard and mistral that can look like actual handwriting. however, if there’s nothing already in your font list that does it for you, you can go online and download new fonts. just go to any free font site and search "handwritten" and you’ll probably find hundreds.
to make it look a little more realistic add a bevel and emboss and use a hard chisel and turn the effect way up to make it look a little uneven.
What are some good Adobe Illustrator CS3 Tutorials?
Are there any good Illustrator CS3 tot’s LIKE the "You suck at photo shop" photo shop tutorials on you tube. I found those very helpful, but I cannot seem to find an equivalent for Illustrator.
Do you know any helpful, beginners tutorials?

Check YouTube for video tutorials. Most video tutorials for Adobe Illustrator are on subscription based site (meaning you have to pay) because producing a video archive for tuts is more work for the tut sites.
photoshop editing help!?
using: adobe photo shop 7.0
i want to create existing images and edit them. what i want to edit is creating one corner that kinda curves out? it’s really hard to explain but i tried googling it but i can’t type it out in words if you get me :S
