P.S I’m just a beginner at photoshop. I have some images but how can i create bold colours with strong out lines a.k.a pop art? Is there a special frame for this? Can you please explain it in simple detail as im not a photoshop expert (as much as i would like to be!)

The best site i have found to explain how is on the link below, i have done this for an art project and the effects are really, the second page is probably the best for what you want.

I’m into publishing brochures, newletters and lesson plans and worksheets.

I learnt much about Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks just by reading through the help files. They contain a fair amount of detail, and include various tutorials as well. As for more advanced things, try typing the product name followed by "tutorial" into Google… you’ll get a long list of sites that offer help on just about anything you want to do with your software.

Well I’m editing pictures and I want to put words on the picture to. Without downloading a font which font already on photoshop is areally good one to use? and i want one thats really bold. theres to many and i dont want to go through all of them.

My favourite font ever is Century Gothic.
And yes, I would advise going on www.dafont.com and downloading some really interesting brushes. The standard set isn’t bad, just not as varied.

Do you have an Apple or a Windows? They both have different fonts available.

im not talking about 3-d pictures im talking about modals in photo shop , like things you can turn around and took at from different views , get what im saying ? can any body send me a link to a tutorial video on how to make them?

Step by Step options.

Assuming you mean plain old styles, the way you create them is to open the Styles palet, click on the piece of paper icon (new style) next to the trash can icon. Alt-click to give it a name when creating.

I use the current version of photoshop casually. I’m trying to make a banner for a friend and can only use some of the fonts that photoshop says it provides. I’ll go down the list and some work but others just give me ???? instead of letters when I type. I checked my windows fonts folder and all the fonts that are included in the photoshop fonts drop down box are there. I’m unsure what else to do since all the fonts are loaded to my computer.

I am not pasting them. I just simply cannot use them. I have not tried to add any fonts to my computer. I’m trying to use fonts that came with the program. I highlight the font within photoshop, click the picture I want to add some words to, then type the word but instead of the word, I only get a bunch of questions marks like so: ????.

If all else fails, try reinstalling photoshop. I find that cures a lot of problems. Good luck.

you need an animation program!
i think photoshop can do it but there are easier programs to use!
