There are two issues with this video everyone should be aware of:
First, my screencasting software glitched and recorded my cursor as Vista’s busy cursor, so you won’t be able to see some of the actual cursors I’m using.

My fifth Photoshop CS3 tutorial. In this video, I’ll show you some more precise color correction methods and explain a little bit about the dodge, burn and sponge tools.
Those of you who already know your way around Photoshop should probably not waste your time watching this video. It’s meant for beginners.

This is an adobe photoshop cs3 tutorial on the basics of pentooling. This is mainly for Kristeli (Hi Teli!) because we seem to keep getting cutoff during tutoring on TeamViewer. With this tutorial you will learn the following:
How to use pentool

Photoshop & Elements 101 – Making 3D Text and Logos
This tutorial covers how to create 3D text and logos using a multiple layering techniques. To make this tutorial a bit easier, I have included the basic steps.
1. Create a new blank file.
2. Draw a linear gradient from black to 80% gray.
3. Select the text tool and type your text.
4. Right-click the text layer and choose simplify.
5. Use free transform distort text into 3D.
6. Control-click on the thumbnail in the layers palette.
7. Choose white and 40% grey and create a gradient.
8. Deselect and add a simple emboss from the bevel effects.
9. Double-click on the fx on the layer and change to 1 pixel.
10. Click on the move tool then hit ctrl-alt and the up key numerous times.
11. Right-click on the top layer and clear style.
12. Repeat procedure for the logo.

You know, like lessons ( Not tutorials mind you, they are different ) on Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, and Soundbooth CS4? I just got them and I’d really like to learn how to use them.

How to add a font in photoshop?
I managed to install a font in control panel/fonts It appears in the "font-list" in word, but not in Photoshop. I have also tried adding it by drag and dropping it into the folder c:/windows/common files/adobe/fonts. Nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong?

All fonts for programs are looked for in the Windows FONTS folder unless they install a specialized folder for the program only.
Install new fonts on your computer:
Windows XP -
1) To install a new font, download the desired font, and save it on your computer.
2) Click the Start menu, and then click Control Panel. Double-click Fonts, go to the File menu, and then click Install New Font.
3) Navigate to the location where you saved the downloaded or unzipped font (double-click to unzip a file).
4) In the List of Fonts box, click the font that you want to add, and then click OK.
Windows Vista -
1) Open Fonts: Click the Start button, click Control Panel, click
Appearance and Personalization, and then click Fonts.
2) Click File, and then click Install New Font.
3) If you don’t see the File menu, press ALT.
4) In the Add Fonts dialog box, under Drives, click the drive where the font that you want to install is located.
5) Under Folders, double-click the folder containing the fonts that you want to add.
6) Under List of fonts, click the font that you want to add, and then click Install.

Tip: if you don’t want to fully install the font, you can double click on the .ttf file on your desktop – Windows font viewer will open up. Keep the viewer open and launch a program like Word or Photoshop. The font will be available for you to use during that session.
