How do I get back Outline Text styles Photoshop?

Hi,

I managed to delete the Outline Text tool in Photoshop Elements 6.0 by accident.
Do know how I can get it back?
Should I deinstall and then reinstall Photoshop completely?

Essentials > Reset Essentials. That option should be in upper right corner in the Photoshop.

Will copying photos help me improve my painting style in photoshop?

I want to eventually do imaginative paintings that look realistic, would copying photos help me with this?

absolutely, it helps with improving all art styles. also getting a nice tablet if you don’t already have one. Another thing i do sometimes is just draw the basics on paper and then bring it in to photoshop to paint the rest.

How to disconnect layer styles in photoshop?

I draw a rectangle on a layer, i copied this layer, then i applied a drop shadow on the first layer, and I copied the layer style to the second one. Then i tried to change the angle of the drop shadow on the second layer, but both layer styles change together. So If i change the angle on one, another changes too. I cannot mirror the drop shadow. I tried to rename the layers, put them in different groups, but nothing help. Do you know how to stop them change together?

In the drop shadow section uncheck "use global light" This will add a drop shadow to only the layer you are working on

Hey last week I just brought The Adobe photoshop CS5. I was just wondering if I could change my hair style using photoshop and if I can how do I do that?

Yes, you can, the same way you’d do it in a painting. Just draw in a new hairstyle. (There’s no "change hairstyle" button, if that’s what you’re asking . Photoshop is a tool – like a paint brush. You provide the artistic talent, it doesn’t.)

when resizing an image in photoshop, what does scale styles mean?

This is what it says in the help file.

If your image has layers with styles applied to them, select Scale Styles to scale the effects in the resized image. This option is available only if you selected Constrain Proportions.

Never used it myself, so not sure how important it is. Obviously never used layer styes before, and I’ve done loads on photoshop.
