    Camera Raw it’s a …
Camera Raw it’s a Adobe plugin for Photoshop. You can download it for free from Adobe website. To open images in Camera RAW, browse your photos in Bridge and select Open File with Camera RAW… or go to the menu on Photoshop and go to Window > Browse… I found that different versions of photoshop might have different ways of opening files using Camera RAW. Good luck!

@marie282007 RAW is a format just like JPEG is a format. It totally depends on the specific camera, but the brand technically doesn’t matter.

    Pict Bridge links …
Pict Bridge links Photoshop to everything it can use in your computer. It’s just like a menu – highlight the photo you want to work on, then click “command R” and it automatically opens it for you to work on. You can also drag your thumbnail onto the Photoshop icon in the dock, and it will open that way too. (btw, I’m on a Mac.)

@OxxselphiexxO heh. I haven’t been catching up with the latest digicams but I’m sure some models do. all DSLRs has a RAW function. you just have to ask or search around which model and brand gives that feature. RAW photos are really big in file size. compared to Jpeg. but if you are a professional or if you are in the design line, shooting in RAW is almost a must.
