This tutorial shows you how to take a photograph and process it in Adobe Illustrator to get big black blocks of pattern. After getting this rough pattern – copy and paste it into Adobe Photoshop. In Photoshop use the magic wand tool to select areas and fill them in with dark black – carefully edit any rough spots using the magic lasso selection tool to get straight edges as needed. Finally set the print options to gain a full sized pumpkin carving pattern.
